Selecting trade license types and Registering a Trade License in Prague
After we have received all required documents from you, it is time to select one (or more) tradelicenses from a list of 80 entries, specifying the future business activity, see the list here: A list of free trade licenses (unqualified trades according to Annex 4 decree 278/2008)
Once the tradelicence type(s) has/have been chosen, we will go to the tradelicense register with you to make the application.
For EU Citizens and 3rd-Country National with long-term D-Visa or Permanent Residence Permit:
After 3-5 workingdays we will pick up the official document, the so-called "výpis ze živnostenského rejstříku" and then we will register you at the tax office, social office and health insurance (see next page).
For 3rd-Country Nationals without long-term D-Visa:
After 3-5 workingdays we will pick up the proof that you are entitled to get a trade license (you will need it for the embassy to apply for a D-Visa for Business purposes).
Also needed for the Visa is health insurance. This we can get for you in 10 minutes.
After getting the Visa, the trade license registration will continue.
Finally we register you at the tax office and social office (see next page).
For 3rd-Country Nationals: the Trade License needs to be renewed every time
3rd-Country Nationals that have a Visa or Temporary Residence Permit need to renew their trade license registration every time before the old visa / residence permit expires. At least 2 months before the expiration date of the visa / residence permit the renewal procedure should be started because it is quite complicated, so contact us in time!
